The Black Bear is owned and personally supervised by the award-winning Chef Hans and his wife Annalies who offer a new spirit of American cooking into the refined body of classical cuisine. The restaurant offers professional service for private parties, weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and has private conference rooms to accommodate the business community, as well as a quaint, secluded terrace for your dining pleasure.
Chef Hans was designated as Colorado Chef of the year in 1973 and was the Grand Prize Winner at the Culinary Arts Show in 1976. The Black Bear Inn has been the recipient of the Four Star Award since 1981.
